Micah's 1st Twins Game
We took Micah to his 1st Twins game tonight. We made it to the top of the 8th which is a lot longer than my pessimistic mind thought was going to happen. We only had 2 tickets to the game so we called to find out what the rule is on needing tickets for kids. They told us that kids under 30 inches get in for free as long as they sit on a lap. So we got out the tape measure, and Micah is 33 inches. rats. So we thought we would just go down there and see what would happen and if all else fails, just sell ours and try to buy 3 seats together. Fortunately, at the ticket counter they just said, "eh. you're fine." Nice. The weather was awesome and we had a great time!

Kim's, aka, Sam's Office
Kim (Sam, in State Farm circles) leased an office for 3 years when he became an agent. He found a great building in Blaine to buy and move the office to. Here's the time lapse slideshow of building his office. It looks great and I'm so happy for him.

Next time won't you sing with B?
I have been trying for a long time to tape Micah singing the ABC's but he never will do it for me when I have the video camera out. He's a little distracted watching a cartoon while I taped this, but it's the best start-to-finish version I've got. My favorite part is that it always ends, "next time won't you sing with B?" :) I also love the floppy arms.

Random Micah Pics
Micah the mimic
These two were taken at Camp Chetek. We took our youth group there a few weeks ago as a service project to help get the camp ready for summer camp.

This was taken at 5000ft above sea level in Denver, Colorado. Ok, not really, it's a kid's climbing wall at a park we like to go to.

This is a fox that I see once in a while in the woods behind our house but I have never seen it in our back yard. I happened to grab a quick picture of it with my phone.

These were some eerie clouds we saw just before a severe storm last Tuesday.

Easter
Last snow picture I hope to be blogging about. April 20th snowfall (4 days before Easter). Irritating but beautiful at the same time.

Let's Go Fly A Kite...
Finally! Spring is here, 66 degrees today and we spent all day outside.
We picked this up at Target the other day for $1 and have been having such a great time with it.

March 9th?
Alrighty.. time to update the blog. Here are a few things that we've been up to since the Christmas Program :)
Building snow forts on March 9th! ugh! I'm so ready for spring.
Micah had a blast in this racecar.

Here is the finished car. Kind of blends in with the background, so just imagine that it looks really good.

Here is our castle. Sooo ready to use that bucket for the beach and not for snow blocks.

Children's Museum
On Saturday we took Micah to the Children's Museum. It was the first time for all of us. We sort of went on whim because we happened to be in St Paul on Saturday morning. Probably not the smartest move we've ever made to go on a Saturday. It was crazy busy, but he loved it.
I didn't have my camera, so I took these with my phone so they aren't great pictures.
This was part of the wildlife exhibit. There a plastic frogs in the stream to play with, but he was so scared of the frogs. Like mother like son :)

I could have spent a lot of time at this exhibit. You were suppose to try to close the valves in a certain order to make the water rise and get the ping pong ball all the way to the top so it would go down a chute. We never got it to work because it' hard to get crowds of toddlers on the same page to understand the goal :)
